      "Mrs. Viola E. Cripe, 94 of 601 Harrison Street, Walkerton, died at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday in the E. Street Division Hospital, LaPorte. She was born July 28, 1874 in Walkerton and had been a lifetime resident. She was married to Allen E. Cripe wh o died in 1947. Her only survivor is a son, Otis of Walkerton. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Nusbaum Funeral Home, Walkerton, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Harold E. Williams, pastor of the Walkerton Unit ed Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Cripe was a member of Rebekah Lodge in Walkerton."

Snyder in the presence of none but the immediate relatives. An excellent weddi ng dinner was served and a number of useful and valuable presents were bestowed upon the couple. The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Cripe wish them happiness and success."
