    • In the Largent book by Joanne Eustice, she says: "Eli -- probably the son of William Largent and Nancy Rhodes -----" Then adds that there was a William Largent living in the same household as Eli and Sarah in the 1850 census, but it is not pnthis William was the father of Eli. As for this author, Carl Rhodes, I believe Eli is the son of William Largent and Nancy Rhodes.
