    Obituary of Howard F. Grove:
    Howard F. Grove, 94, of Nappanee, formerly of Bremen passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at LuAnn Nursing Home, Nappanee. He was born October 3, 1916 in Bremen to Frank & Pauline (Schlemmer) Grove. On November 8, 1947 he married Donna Baugher , she preceded him in death in 2001.

    Howard was a retired farmer and truck driver. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Dade City, FL where he and his wife lived for 20 years. He enjoyed living in Florida and tending to his orange groves. He later attended Bremen Churc h of the Brethren and he was an avid sports fan.

    Survivors include 2 daughters: Myrna Grove of Elkhart and Elaine (Carl) Rhodes of Middlebury, 1 son Bruce (Pam) Grove of Monticello and 3 granddaughters and 1 great-grandson.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 1 sister and 2 brothers.

    Funeral service will be held at 7PM on Friday, June 17, 2011 at the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen and will be officiated by Rev. Brian Beeks.

    Friends may call from 4PM on Friday until the time of service at the funeral home.

    Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer?s Association.

    Obituary Notice Wakarusa Tribune Feb 14, 1968 " Mrs. Pauline Groves,
    78, 111 S. Washington St. Wakarusa, died of complications Friday, Feb.
    9, at her home. She had been ill about a year. Mrs. Groves was born
    in St. Joseph County on Mar. 15 1890. She was married to Frank Groves in
    1905. He preceded her in death in 1959. Survivors are three sons,
    Homer Groves, Elm Road, Bremen; Donald, North Liberty; and Howard of
    Wakarusa Route 1. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, three
    great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Lydia Bollman of South Bend.
    Funeral services were held Monday at the Lienhart Funeral Home at 2
    p.m. with Dr. Ben Strohbehn of the First Christian Church, where she
    was a member, officiating. Burial was in the Bremen Cemetery."
