Lyons, 84, of 635 Oak Hill Avenue, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away at 6:40 p.m., Thursday, January 12, 2012, at Miller's Merry Manor, in Plymouth. Frank was born on June 6, 1927, in Etna Green, Indiana, to Ottow and Eva (Cox) Lyons. Frank served his country, in the United States Army, during WWII. Frank married Cora Hattery on September 23, 1947. He retired as a fabricator from I.T. Equipm ent, in Plymouth. Frank is survived by his son, Dennis (Diana) Lyons of Plymouth; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Cora on November 1, 2007; an infant son, Ray; an infant daughter, Kathy; and a daughter, Lin da Shafer. Services will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street, Plymouth, Indiana, 46563. Burial will be in New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Van Gilder Funeral Home.
