      "Benjamin Albert Pratt was born in Sodus, Wayne county, N.Y. February 9, 1851, and departed this life at his home in Walkerton, July 15, 1915 at 3 p.m. He was the last in a family of give children, two sisters and three brothers.

      He is survived by his devoted wife and three daughters, Mrs. James Kneisley, Mrs. Samuel Baker and Mrs. Frank Wolf. He also leaves eleven grandchildren, besides many friends and neighbors to mourn his loss. The funeral was held Sunday afternoo n at 2:00 o'clock at the M.E. church, conducted by Rev. W.L. Hargrave. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery."
