"Mrs. Marcella Smith, age 82, a widown, 1813 Linden Ave., is dead as the result of having been accidentally asphyxiated sometime this morning, by gas escaping from an oven jet in the kitchen of the residence of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Willia m Smith, also a widow, with whom she lived."

H.R. Paxton, Christian Science reader, officia ting and at 2:30 o'clock at Walkerton, this county. Burial will be in the Walkerton Cemetary."
