This is a portrayal of the Virginia Light Infantry battalion, at battle of Stony Point New York. The Battle took place on July 16, 1779, during the American Revolutionary War. I was a well planned and executed nighttime attack, a highly trained select group of soldiers. It was a night attack, where the bayonet being the only weapon used by the Americans. In this battle William Rhodes was wounded and promoted Corporal.
