  1. 14.  Robert Raymond Bolen was born on 22 Apr 1909 in West Liberty, Logan County, Ohio (son of John H. Bolen and Alda Mae Strayer); died on 10 Aug 1981 in Ashland, Ashland County, Ohio.

    Notes:

    Robert Raymond was placed in the Richland County Home after his mother died. Later, with his brother, Edward, they were transferred to the children's home in Crawford County. His father re-married in 1920 when he was able to leave the homei e with his father and step-mother. After graduation from Mansfield High School, he worked as a radio announcer for a short time before the station moved to Akron. He then worked at the Mansfield Tire and Rubber Company until he went to work at t he Mansfield Printing Company where he retired as a plant supervisor after 41 years.
