    days I would go by myself over the field to visit Grandmother for
    quiet times, good conversation, and was introduced to good books from
    her little library under the staircase. She was a good looking, firey
    lady with snappy blue eyes who loved life, expected you to do well in
    all things and instilled a love of nature into us."
