  1. 1.  Jacob Jr. Stemler was born on 7 Feb 1832; died on 26 Jan 1901.

    DEATH: Jacob Stemler was born in Albers Bach, Rhine Pfaltz, Bavaria, Germany September 7, 1832 and died at North
    Webster at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lewis (Emma) Baugher, January 26, 1901 at the age of 68 years, 11 months and
    19 days. He emigrated to this country in 1850 and first resided at Fort Wayne, from there went to Cleveland, O. where he married
    Elizabeth Arnold. In 1854 he moved to North Webster where he remained until his death. There were born to this family eight
    children, four of whom, with his wife, preceded him in death. In 1863 he was converted and became a member of the Evangelical
    church. The survivors are one sister, four daughters, 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The remains were interred in
    Webster cemetery.
